Getting Closer

I had dinner with my grandparents tonight. Over dinner we discussed my trip to Africa. They offered to pay a huge portion of my trip. I am so thankful for my grandparents. I still got some ways to go. God is working and moving and showing Himself in this process. I need to continue to pray and seek Him out. I am also super stoked because Kyle the student in question is officially signed up for the trip. There are a total of 4 of us going and I am super pumped. God is amazing and I can't wait to see what He has planned.

My mom offered to pay for my first portion of the trip. This is awesome and I want to say thank you mom! This is a great start and I feel as if God really wants me to go on this trip. I know I still have a long way to go but I know God's got it covered. He Rules!

I'm going to Africa!!

I am so excited! I'm going to Africa with a group called A Heart For Africa. I will be going with George, Gabi and hopefully Kyle from our High School group. The trip is from July 15th - July 25th. I head out to Johannesburg on the 15th and stay the night there. From there we take a 5 hour bus ride to Swaziland which is where we will spend the rest of our time. We will be putting on a Vacation Bible School and doing various service projects for the church we will be serving. The crazy part is we get back the same day we leave for Hume Lake. Meaning we land at LAX and then drive straight to Hume. It's going to be a tiring trip but so rewarding. God is going to do some incredible things and I am looking forward to seeing what He's got planned. For more information on the organization visit HeartForAfrica.org
